Many of these seniors knew no-one who could explain to them how to use these electronic devices. The main goal of the Ordimoteur project was to provide basic tech support to this clientele. The students wanted the seniors to learn enough to be become autonomous computer users.

Each student learnt a lot through their close contact with seniors: patience, the need to speak clearly and concisely, and the ability to explain concepts in different ways. The students were proud to have brought this project to term and acquired new skills that would serve them well in their future careers.
A school board trustee and municipal politician helped promote the project. The local newspaper and television station interviewed those involved. Mr. Yves-Luc, a teacher at the school, gave the students computer training prior to the start of the project. Over the course of the project, the students established ties with local organizations: a women's group (Club social des femmes de Gaspé), a literacy organization (Le pouvoir des mots) and a seniors' social club.
Education Through Entrepreneurial Spirit is excellent for integrating skills from the Preschool and elementary education program and the Secondary education program.
