    Academos

    Academos is a career guidance social network that enables young people to find their dream job. With its community of over 71 000 young people, 2 500 mentors, 2 000 youth workers and more than 100 organizations throughout Québec, Academos connects young people between the ages of 14 and 30 with the reality of the workforce and helps them to achieve their professional goals so as to create a more educated, qualified and prosperous society.

     

    With its space dedicated to entrepreneurship, its community of mentors and its discussion groups, Academos helps young people create their entrepreneurial projects from a perspective of academic and career guidance. Visit its website.

    Conseil québécois de la coopération et de la mutualité

    CQCM

    CQCM services are intended for secondary school, special needs, vocational training and technical training students, to allow them to explore co-operative entrepreneurship through a Jeune COOP initiative. Offered all across Québec by a network of Cooperative Entrepreneurship Promotion Officers (CEPO) trained in complex and co-operative learning, these services include personalized support and tools providing a democratic framework for project selecting, planning and development.

     

    An assessment of students’ experiences showed the relevance of CQCM programs related to the development of co-operative behaviours and the introduction to entrepreneurial culture, and their positive impact on students’ self-knowledge, aptitudes, interests and motivation at school.

    Fusion Jeunesse

    Lauréat de nombreuses distinctions, Fusion Jeunesse est un organisme de bienfaisance dont la mission est de contribuer à la persévérance scolaire, à l’employabilité et à l’engagement civique des jeunes en implantant des projets d’apprentissage expérientiel innovants qui créent des liens continus entre les milieux scolaires et la communauté. Chaque semaine, nous accompagnons 16 000 jeunes dans plus de 250 écoles en milieu rural, urbain et autochtone.

    Idea entrepreneurial education

    Idea

    Dedicated to the development, support and promotion of the Entrepreneurial Community School model, this organization offers its services to educational institutions at all levels. It helps education professionals to establish an entrepreneurial culture in the classroom and in the school as a whole.

     

    Idea focuses mainly on pedagogical approaches to implement within the context of entrepreneurial education, and on an educational school project called the Conscious Entrepreneurial Learning Program (CELP). It help administrators and professionals to adopt a conscious entrepreneurial position that fosters personal (exit profile) and social (sustainable development, community ties) development.

    JA Québec educational programs

    JA Québec

    Launched in 1962, JA Québec is committed to training and educating students aged 10 to 18 on financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work readiness with the goal of equipping them to make smart financial decisions, start a business, develop a career path and be innovative. More than 300 000 students have benefited from its programs since the organization was created in Québec.

     

    JA Québec, formerly known as Jeunes Entreprises du Québec, is a member of JA Canada and of JA Worldwide, the world’s largest non-profit organization dedicated to the financial and entrepreneurial education of young people.

    La grande journée des petits entrepreneurs

    The Grande journée des petits entrepreneurs is an opportunity for children to gain an introduction to and awareness of entrepreneurship while experimenting with creating a business for this big day. More than 5 555 little entrepreneurs at the elementary school level from across Québec launched their day-long venture in the 5th edition held on June 17, 2018.

     

    Through its communication tools, the Grande journée allows children to publicize their project on the web and by means of a mobile app.

    OSEntreprendre

     OSEntreprendre’s mission is to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship in order to help build a proud, innovative, committed and prosperous Québec. It mobilizes a large network of partners to promote entrepreneurial initiatives, in order to inspire as many people as possible to believe in themselves. The organisation developed the 4 intervention levers in Education Through Entrepreneurial Spirit : awareness, experimentation, acknowledgement, self-affirmation.

     

    For each of them, its developed tools and activities. So, the Semaine des entrepreneurs à l’école (awareness) is held each November in schools. OSEntreprendre Challenge (experimentation and acknowledgement), is the main activity of OSEntreprendre. This makes it possible to identify and promote entrepreneurial initiatives. The "Entrepreneurship I'm Up for the Challenge" (self-affirmation) invites participants to assert their entrepreneurial audacity.

    Réseau des carrefours jeunesse-emploi du Québec

    RCJEQ

    The Carrefours jeunesse-emploi (CJE) support and guide young adults aged 15 to 35 in their economic and social integration process by helping them prepare for the job market, return to school and develop entrepreneurial and community involvement projects.

     

    Since 2004, the CJEs have supported schools and communities in developing entrepreneurial culture among young people. The youth entrepreneurship service is aimed at secondary school students, as part of the Créneau carrefour jeunesse program. The CJE youth entrepreneurship officer will provide the support necessary to carry out any project, be it to set up a student entrepreneurs club (radio, newspaper), a youth co-op, a conference, a tour of a business, or a mentorship program. The CJEs tailor their services to the needs of local communities and young people, and therefore implement them differently from one region to another. Find your CJE!

    Réseau M of the Fondation de l'entrepreneurship

    As a teacher, are you looking to impart strong entrepreneurial values to your students? Host a Réseau M entrepreneur-speaker and help to ignite an entrepreneurial spark in the next generation!

     

    Organized by Réseau M of the Fondation de l’entrepreneurship and made possible through partnerships with Hydro-Québec, Cogeco and the Secrétariat à la jeunesse, the Entreprendre, ça te branche? conferences are intended for elementary and secondary school students, and aim to demystify entrepreneurship and instill strong entrepreneurial values such as leadership, mutual assistance and perseverance.

    RQÉEE

    Its mission is to support the development of responsible entrepreneurial values and attitudes in young people as early as elementary school, in order to encourage them to reach their full potential and prepare them as future citizens who are better equipped to face the challenges of the 21st century.

     

    Its main activities, which tend to be more like strategies, allow the Réseau to be present throughout Québec, fulfilling its purpose by taking action and addressing the various community needs through different projects while taking into account the social, ethical, ecological and environmental impacts.
