Whether it’s as a mother, heritage handyperson, artist or electric vehicle driver, she is a deeply committed person who transforms inspiration into action. In recognition of her achievements, Manon has received the Québec Le Soleil – Radio-Canada award, as well as a Woman of Distinction award from the Women’s Y.
Looking for information on a Québec product? Manon is the definite go-to person because she knows hundreds of them! She points out that, among other things, you can have breakfast at La Boule Miche, do laundry with La Parisienne, renovate with Canac, and even more!
The thread that runs through Éric’s career is his desire to become involved in initiatives that are mobilizing and bring about social change. An avid fisherman, he loves angling in waters where the goals of provincial players mesh with the real-life situations and needs of local and regional communities. His favourites are Chantier Chibougamau, a leader in engineered products and wooden structures, and L'inventaire, an eclectic shop in Québec City that is also a place for the whole family to explore.
Originally from Bas-Saint-Laurent, Lise has been a member of the OSEntreprendre team since the very beginning of this great adventure. A proud mother and grandmother, she likes to spend as much time as possible by the river in Ste-Luce-sur-Mer with her loved ones. If you visit Lise’s region, take the opportunity to visit Nomade, a shop specializing in products by Québec designers and manufacturers including Frëtt Design, owned by Michelle Secours and a prize-winning business in the first edition of the Challenge in 1999.
Isabelle likes to embark on new projects for the management challenges they represent and the opportunities for creativity they offer. Organizational change, technological change? Why not include decor change as well? Her discovery: the boutique L'Usine and its unique Québécois creations—a chance to combine her passion for decorating and a day out with her two daughters, with slushies served right on the premises! Isabelle’s favourite book for sharing is the poetry collection Pleurer ne sauvera pas les étoiles, because we have among us, here and now, talented poets we can appreciate while they are still alive.
Developing a communication strategy? Drafting a text? Organizing an event? No matter what challenge is thrown her way, Amélie will tackle it enthusiastically and make sure every last detail is taken care of. This proactive and dynamic woman’s expertise has already been of great service to several Québec companies and organizations, and now it plays an instrumental role in a task that is very close to her heart: inspiring entrepreneurs! Her favourites? Fourmi Bionique, with its granola mixes to start the day off right, and Raplapla, with its ragdolls and plush toys to spoil the young (and the young at heart).
